As the Summer Contracting Manager at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Mr. Webber gained invaluable experience managing contracts and building lasting relationships with top-tier performers, including renowned organizations like the American Ballet Theatre and Hollywood. This role provided extensive knowledge in artist recruitment and contract management, ensuring seamless collaboration with leading arts institutions.
Previously, as Communications Manager at Opera Carolina, Logan led social media strategy development and execution, driving a 43% increase in engagement. By aligning content with business goals and conducting in-depth research on audience preferences, he enhanced the company's online presence while ensuring consistent communication with followers. A skilled content creator, Mr. Webber effectively used SEO techniques and cross-functional collaboration to amplify the company’s storytelling and messaging.
Logan's expertise extends beyond communications into event production, having consulted with arts nonprofits like Piedmont Opera, Wear Yellow Proudly, The Cancer Society of Anderson, SC, and other small nonprofits. His experience at the Edward C. Smith Civic Center honed Logan's event planning skills, including producing Amahl and the Night Visitors multiple times and bringing the Kenyan trio MOIPEI to Lexington. He also created a Mario Movie Night in Lexington, where kids had the unique opportunity to play Mario Kart on the big screen before the show. These roles have given Logan a well-rounded skill set, allowing for effective coordination of large-scale events and strategic initiatives that drive success within the arts community. Additionally, through connections Logan made at The Smith, he was able to manage the social media accounts for Scythian, the Irish-Ukrainian rock band, for a period of time, further showcasing his expertise in managing diverse and dynamic online communities.
Combining a deep passion for the arts with an innovative and strategic approach, Logan continues to make a lasting impact in the arts community through effective communication, event production, and relationship-building.

Work Experience
September 2017 - Present
April 2023 - December 2024
January 2018-August 2018
At the Edward C. Smith Civic Center, I gained hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, and community outreach. As the primary event coordinator, I was responsible for assisting on, and producing/overseeing, a variety of high-profile events, including concerts, galas, and more. I managed everything from securing talent, such as bringing the Kenyan trio MOIPEI and comedian Andy Gross to Lexington, to coordinating logistics for large-scale productions like Amahl and the Night Visitors.
As Communications Manager at Opera Carolina, I led various marketing campaigns, including writing and disseminating mass communications, crafting mission-based updates, and managing community-facing content. These efforts resulted in a 43% increase in social media engagement. Additionally, I also helped coordinate high-profile productions like the Denyce Graves Foundation’s The Passion of Mary Cardwell Dawson and the Andrea Bocelli Gala for Opera Carolina’s 75th season. I also launched and managed the new website and social media during my time at the company.
As Summer Contracting Manager at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), I gained valuable experience managing top-tier talent contracts and building relationships with renowned performers such as American Ballet Theatre, Hollywood, and other prominent arts institutions.
